Privacy Policy
Short version: we collect as little as possible, we sell nothing, and there are no third-party trackers on this site.
Analytics
We measure traffic with our own first-party analytics: when you load a page, your browser sends a tiny beacon to /api/pv recording the page path and referrer. That record goes into our own database and nowhere else. There are no third-party analytics scripts, no tracking cookies, and no cross-site profiling on this site.
Newsletter
If you subscribe, we store your email address for one purpose only: sending the weekly mods roundup. We never sell it, share it, or use it for anything else. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing deletes the address.
Contact
The contact form on this site opens your own email client — messages go straight to our inbox and are not stored on our servers beyond normal email.
Cookies
This site currently sets no cookies at all — first-party or otherwise.
What we do not collect
There are no user accounts, so we never see your name, precise location, or device identifiers. We do not fingerprint browsers, build profiles, or share data with data brokers. The pageview beacon records a path and a referrer string — nothing that identifies you personally.
Data retention
Traffic statistics are computed over a rolling 30-day window. Raw pageview rows are kept only as long as needed to produce those aggregates and operate the site, then removed in routine cleanup. Newsletter addresses are kept until you unsubscribe, at which point they are deleted.
Your rights
Want your email removed from the newsletter list, or have a question about data we hold? Contact us and we will handle it — usually within a few days.
Future advertising
We may display ads via Google AdSense in the future to support the site. If we do, Google may use cookies to personalize ads; you can opt out of personalized advertising in your Google ad settings at any time. This policy will be updated before any ad code goes live.
